We have owned Cane Corsos since 2020, but our journey with the breed began two years earlier through extensive research and conversations with experienced breeders across Europe to ensure we started with the right foundations.
Over the years we have gained valuable hands-on experience through responsible ownership and breeding, and while we have now stepped away from breeding, we remain passionate about supporting others on their Cane Corso journey.
We are proud to be Breed Advisors and to work alongside a club that shares our values. For us, health and temperament have always come before anything else, and we believe these principles are essential to preserving and improving the breed. The club’s

Lockdown Kennels UK was established in 2018 following the import of our foundation male, marking the beginning of a programme dedicated to preserving and promoting the true Cane Corso.
Since then, Lockdown Kennels has imported exceptional dogs from some of the world's most respected breeders in Serbia, Montenegro, Russia and Romania, incorporating influential bloodlines that have helped shape the modern Cane Corso while remaining true to the breed's heritage and standard.
From the outset, our mission has remained unchanged: to breed Cane Corso that exemplify correct breed type, sound health, stable temperament and functional ability. Whether producing adaptable family companions, capable working dogs or confident sporting dogs, every breeding decision is guided by these core principles.
Over the years, we have been privileged to support hundreds of owners,
and breeders. This includes mentoring those new to the breed, advising first-time Cane Corso owners, and assisting developing breeding programmes with education and responsible breeding practices.
Having worked alongside many of the individuals who form the foundation of the Cane Corso Breed Club UK for several years, Lockdown Kennels is proud to serve as an official Advisor to the Cane Corso Breed Club UK. We are committed to supporting the club's vision by promoting responsible ownership, education, ethical breeding and the long-term preservation of the Cane Corso in the United Kingdom.
We look forward to continuing to work alongside knowledgeable, like-minded enthusiasts who share our dedication to safeguarding the breed's future while maintaining the qualities that make the Cane Corso such an exceptional guardian and companion.

Calibre Canine was founded back 4 years ago in 2022, not initially as a kennel for the Cane Corso Breed but rather as Dog Trainer who’s gone on to specialise in advance training such as Obedience, Protection, Search & Detection Training and now very experienced training this breed.
Before I go into the training side, let’s Start with where my corso journey started. I Imported my first corso 2022, from a great kennels in Bulgaria who have almost unmatched results in FCi shows, this was D’Cersei. I have been showing her for 4 years now across 4 different registry’s and remains unbeaten in conformation shows, earning Gr Ch title with UBBR, gained a ICCF/CCBCUK title (only corso to have it atm) aswell as up do Advanced Obedience Certification with UKBKC and Lvl 1 Obedience with ICCGB.
Confident and happy with in my opinion having one of the best structured Corso’s but also accepting to the breed tending to have a bit of nerve now days my aim has been to breed more confidence and drive into Corso’s while keeping that correct structure to breed standards and good temperament. This led me to use a stud from a working Corso bloodline who’s achieved titles no other Corso’s in the world have aswell as top level sport titles such as igp3.
From these pairings, I have been successful in creating some amazingly structured dogs with huge confidence and great drive, and supplied to top quality owners/trainers such as Protection Dogs Worldwide, VIP Elite K9 and to other countries. My keeper pup from this has done well in 18 months of shows earning reserve best in show male twice, graded an excellence while show tremendous potential in a working sport we’re training for called PSA, which no corso in the UK has titled in yet.
Abit about myself as a trainer, Taylor, the owner of Calibre Canine. Of course we all have that love for dogs growing up but this lead me to become a Security Dog Handler with my Herder when I left the Army back in 2020. Within 6 months I took on Passive Drug Detection work with a German Pointer too. Which meant getting both NASDU lvl2 & NTIPDU lvl 2 qualified in both, which we then managed to achieve a NASDU lvl3 couple years on and have achieved that with my herder past 3 years. With the Security Dog work, we are experience in not only static sites, but also crowd control, building evictions, perimeter patrols, street patrols and more. With the Drug Detection work we worked across the country ranging from anything like racecourse, stadiums and festivals to searching schools, representing T Mobile events and more!

Anaxandridas Kennels
Anaxandridas Kennels was established in 2024 after we welcomed our first Cane Corso, Zeus, into our lives. From the moment we discovered this incredible breed, we were captivated by its intelligence, loyalty, athleticism, and unwavering devotion. What started with Zeus quickly became a true passion, leading us to expand our family with Bona, Athena, and Odin.
Although we have not yet bred our first litter, we have dedicated the past three years to researching the Cane Corso, learning from experienced breeders and trainers, and investing countless hours into training, socialising, and developing our own dogs to be the very best examples of the breed.
Our goal is to preserve and protect the Cane Corso by producing healthy, stable, well-balanced dogs with excellent temperaments. Whether destined for a loving family home, a sporting home, or a working environment, we believe every Cane Corso should be a sound representative of this remarkable breed.
We are incredibly proud to be ambassadors for the Cane Corso Breed Club UK. This opportunity allows us to continue learning from knowledgeable advisors and respected members of the breed community. We are excited to absorb as much knowledge as possible and to contribute positively to the future of the Cane Corso.
At Anaxandridas Kennels, our journey is only just beginning, but our commitment to the breed is lifelong. Every step we take is guided by our passion, dedication, and respect for the Cane Corso, ensuring we always put the breed’s welfare and future first.
When we chose a Cane Corso, we weren't looking for an intimidating dog—we were looking for a loyal, intelligent, and loving companion to grow up alongside our two boys. That's exactly what we found in Nora.
She has become a huge part of our family, proving every day that the Cane Corso is so much more than its powerful appearance. With the right breeding, training, and socialisation, they are calm, affectionate, devoted family dogs with an incredible bond to their owners.
We believe the Cane Corso is one of the most misunderstood breeds in the UK, and we're passionate about helping people see their true nature through responsible ownership and education.
That's why I wanted to become part of the Cane Corso Breed Club UK. Their commitment to protecting the breed through responsible breeding, good temperament, health, and education reflects the same values our family believes in. I'm proud to support a club that is dedicated to promoting the Cane Corso in the right way and helping secure its future in the UK.
